Boost visibility of your assets on LOBSTR

Most Stellar assets can already be found on LOBSTR

Asset information is publicly available on the Stellar network. If your asset information is complete and accurate, it is likely that this asset can be found via search and used on LOBSTR. 

Visit the Asset Search page to see if an asset is already available on LOBSTR. If the asset does not appear, the Asset Search page will also provide action points that will help make the asset available via search. 

How can I boost the asset visibility?

Assets can gain additional visibility by being listed on our default asset list that is displayed to all users at the 'Assets' page. All assets on this list undergo an additional review process to ensure they meet technical and quality standards.

LOBSTR strives to list high-value and popular assets within the Stellar ecosystem.

If you are an asset issuer, you can increase your asset's visibility by applying to list them as a Known, Curated, or Featured asset by filling out this listing form.  

LOBSTR asset listing options

Any unlisted assets on the Stellar network are placed into the default 'Unknown' category on LOBSTR.

Assets in the 'Unknown' category are available through search only and have interaction warnings displayed to users before buying, adding, or claiming such an asset. A 0.875% fee is automatically factored into the exchange rate when buying 'Unknown' assets via Swaps and Market trades.

LOBSTR offers 3 categories for asset listing:

Known Asset 

Listing in the Known category allows for lower swap fees for asset users at 0.5%. Users also will not see any interaction warnings before they buy, add, or claim your asset on LOBSTR.

 
Listing price: $200 one-time payment

• Lower swap fees at 0.5%.
• Users will not see any interaction warnings before they buy, add, or claim the asset.
  
• The asset will be available through search only. 

Curated Asset

Your asset will appear on the default asset list as ‘Curated by LOBSTR’ to all users. LOBSTR users are more likely to interact with curated assets than Unknown assets. Even lower swap fees for asset users at 0.3%.

Listing price: $2,500 one-time payment

• Even lower swap fees at 0.3% 
• Users will not see any interaction warnings before they buy, add, or claim the asset. 
• Listed in the default asset list, greater visibility for most users.
• Basic asset promotion.

Featured Asset

The Featured section is the most visible and popular asset list on LOBSTR. Assets in this section have more user engagement, resulting in more trustlines and transactions. A custom promotion campaign is available for all featured assets. Asset automatically moves to the Curated section after the subscription expires to remain visible to users. 

Listing price: Subscription service for 3, 6, or 12 months. Reach out for details. 

• The lowest swap fees at 0.15%.
• Users will not see any interaction warnings before they buy, add, or claim the asset. 
• Featured on the default asset list. Easily visible to all users.
• Custom promotion campaign.
• Curated status upon subscription expiration.

How LOBSTR asset listing process works

Here’s a quick summary of LOBSTR asset evaluation and listing process:

1. Apply. Asset issuers start by submitting an application with all relevant information about their asset via the asset listing form.
2. Confirm the payment. The minimum payment of 200 USDC is required to start the review for each listing request. LOBSTR won't review any listing requests that don’t have a corresponding payment. 
3. Review. LOBSTR evaluates the information submitted to ensure the asset meets the eligibility criteria for our legal, compliance, and technical security reviews. Listing requests for Curated and Featured categories undergo an additional thorough review process and in-person interview. 
   Note: LOBSTR reserves the right to reject any listing request for the asset if we deem the asset ineligible for the listing.
4. Get in touch. Once the initial review is complete, we reach out to the asset issuer using the contact information provided on the listing form with the listing decision.   
   
5. List. Once approved via the review team, the asset can be listed in the corresponding category on LOBSTR. 
6. Monitor. LOBSTR constantly monitors all assets and may de-list assets if they stop meeting our requirements, or if new information becomes available.

Step 2. Choose how you want to upgrade your asset on LOBSTR and click on the 'Apply/Get in touch' button:

Step 3. The asset listing page will open for you to fill out.

Make sure to provide all the relevant and correct information for your asset, issuer, and organization. This will help the review team to handle your listing request in a timely manner.
