How can I reset my password?

If you sign in to your account using an email address and password and receive the message "Incorrect email or password", even though you believe your login credentials are correct, please check the following:

Verify that you entered the correct email address.
Make sure your password uses the correct uppercase and lowercase letters.
Note that both the email address and password fields are case-sensitive.
Ensure there are no extra spaces at the beginning or end of your password.

If you have forgotten your password and need to reset it, please follow the steps below:

1. Tap Sign in with email → Forgot Password → Reset Password:

2. Click the Approve button in the email sent to your Inbox.

When the password reset is approved, you will need to wait for at least 48 hours before a unique link to complete the reset process is sent to your email. IMPORTANT: The link will be valid for 24 hours only.

At the end of the reset process, you'll be asked for a Recovery code or Recovery Phrase.

If the Recovery phrase is connected to your LOBSTR account, only the Recovery Phrase will help you restore access to your LOBSTR account.

ATTENTION!

Recovery code (a 10-word code) and Recovery Phrase (a 12-word backup phrase) are shown to users when creating an account on LOBSTR.

A user could have either a Recovery code or a Recovery Phrase — it is displayed to every new user.

Recovery code can only be associated with one certain Stellar wallet. Recovery Phrase is associated with all the Stellar wallets that were generated with it.

We (the LOBSTR team) do not have access to users' Recovery phrases, Secret keys, Recovery codes, or Account passwords. That's the main point of LOBSTR security — we don't have access to users' money.

Never share your Recovery phrase, Secret key, Password, Backup code with anyone. Always store your sensitive information securely.
