How do I cancel a MoneyGram transaction?

Users can cancel a MoneyGram withdrawal transaction started via the LOBSTR app by following the steps below.

Note: 

• You can cancel only the cash out transaction. 
• If you're having issues with the cash in transaction, you will need to reach out to the MoneyGram support team via the contacts given below.
• If you don't bring money to the MoneyGram location, the transaction will expire and become inactive after a while.

Option 1

To cancel the Withdrawal transaction from the 'Home' screen, do the following:

1. From the 'Home' tab > tap 'Pending MoneyGram transfers':

2. Select the Withdrawal transaction 'User Action Required' > Tap 'More Info':

3. This should present you with the MoneyGram screen that allows you to cancel the transaction:

4. Select the reason why you'd like to cancel the transaction and tap 'Cancel Transfer':

5. Done! USDC will be refunded to your wallet shortly.

Option 2

To cancel the Withdrawal transaction from the 'Home' screen on mobile apps or 'Assets' screen on the web, do the following:

1. Go to the 'Home' screen on mobile apps or open the 'Assets' page on the web > select USDC:

2. Tap 'Transfer History' > select 'MoneyGram' > select the Transaction you would like to cancel;

3. Tap 'More Info' at the bottom of the transaction screen:

4. This should present you with the MoneyGram screen that allows you to cancel the transaction:

5. After selecting the reason why you'd like to cancel the transaction and tapping 'Cancel Transfer', USDC will be refunded to your wallet shortly.
