MoneyGram integration allows LOBSTR users to seamlessly cash in and out of the USDC (USD Coin).
Follow the steps below to learn how to sell USDC on your wallet and get your local cash in one of the participating MoneyGram locations near you.
1. From the 'Home' screen on mobile apps or 'Assets' screen on the web > select USDC by centre.io:
2. Tap 'Withdraw USDC' > choose 'MoneyGram':
3. You'll be redirected to the MoneyGram flow. On this step, you'll need to specify cash out country, сash out state/province, and the amount of withdrawal:
4. On the next step you will be able to check the details of the withdrawal including exchange amounts and rate:
5. Fill in your personal details and click on the 'Next' button:
6. Enter your identity verification details. A MoneyGram employee will verify the data when receiving the cash:
7. Then you can confirm the final transaction details. This is the final step before your transaction is confirmed in the MoneyGram system:
8. Your transaction Reference number will be displayed to you at the final step. Bring this code and your Photo ID to the MoneyGram location.
Find the MoneyGram location closest to you by using the ‘Find a Location’ button.
9. After clicking the 'Ok' button, you'll be redirected to LOBSTR to confirm the withdrawal.
10. Tap the 'Withdraw' button to initiate the withdrawal.
11. Once your USDC tokens are sent for withdrawal, the transaction status will shortly update to reflect that your funds are ready for pickup. Visit one of participating MoneyGram locations, and show your Photo ID & Reference Number to get your cash.
