LOBSTR referral program: Invite friends to join and earn bonuses

Get your family and friends to start using the LOBSTR. Invite them to learn more about the Stellar network, Stellar DEX, and earn AQUA, the token that powers the Aquarius protocol.

Earn rewards for friends who sign up with LOBSTR, make a crypto purchase, and redeem your personal referral code.

Both you and your friend will get 1000 AQUA tokens as a referral reward when we confirm their crypto purchase via MoonPay. 

Who can join the promo?

Everyone who uses LOBSTR on web or mobile platforms is welcome to start inviting friends and receiving bonuses. Navigate to Settings where you can find the Invite friends tab with your referral code. Make sure you are using the most recent version available for your specific platform to view the latest rules and rewards.  

What are the rules and conditions?

Here are some of the important details you should know: 

General

• The current referral bonus is 1000 AQUA tokens, which will be sent to both the referrer and the newly invited user.
• Once the referral code is redeemed by a new user, both the referrer and the new user have 5 days to claim their reward in the 'Pending' section of the 'Transactions' page. 
• Both the referrer and the new user will have 5 days to claim their bonus reward once the payment becomes available to claim.
• LOBSTR team reserves the right to change the terms of the referral program at any time due to changing market conditions, risk of fraud, or any other factors we deem relevant. 

Existing LOBSTR users

• New users you invite as a part of this promo must join LOBSTR after you joined. 
• The referral promo offer is limited to the first 3 friends who redeem your referral code.  

New LOBSTR users

• Each new LOBSTR user can only participate in the referral promo once.
• You must redeem the code within 30 days of the account opening date to be eligible for the referral bonus.
• You must complete a purchase of any amount of XLM at the 'Buy Lumens' page to be eligible for the referral bonus. 
• The minimum purchase amount to be eligible for the promo is $25 or an alternative in another supported currency as per conversion rates provided by MoonPay.
• Alternatively, you can purchase other crypto at the 'Buy Crypto' page which will make you eligible for the referral bonus as well.  
• Make sure you are logged in to your LOBSTR account before making a purchase of XLM or other crypto in order to be eligible for the referral bonus. Your purchase won't be qualified for the referral bonus if it can't be associated with an existing LOBSTR account.

How to earn referral bonuses?

Follow this guide to participate in the referral promo campaign and earn bonuses: 

1. Choose 'Settings' in the side menu on mobile or web platform and navigate to the 'Invite friends' section to get your unique referral code.  

2. Invite a friend or family member to create an account with LOBSTR and share your unique referral code with them.

3. Your referral has to buy XLM or any other crypto with LOBSTR. 

We recommend purchasing XLM which is required to activate the Stellar wallet of your referral and claim the bonus reward of 1000 AQUA.

The minimum purchase amount to be eligible for the referral program is $25 or an alternative in another supported fiat currency according to the conversion rates specified by MoonPay.

To purchase XLM, open the 'Buy Crypto' section on mobile or web platform. 

Note: Alternatively, new users can purchase other BTC, ETH, or other crypto at the 'Buy Crypto' page which will make you eligible for the referral bonus as well.  

In this case, make sure the new user is logged in to their LOBSTR account when they initiate the crypto purchase in order to be eligible for the referral bonus. Their purchase won't be qualified for the referral bonus if it can't be associated with an existing LOBSTR account. 

4. Once the crypto purchase is complete, your referral should choose 'Settings' in the side menu on mobile or web platform and navigate to the 'Redeem code' section.

Once there, they should enter your referral code and redeem it to receive the promo reward.

Once the code is successfully redeemed, both you and your referral will receive a claimable reward bonus of 1000 AQUA tokens.

Note: If the form still requires a purchase when redeeming the code, wait for a few minutes and make sure your purchase has been fully processed on MoonPay's end. Additionally, make sure you made a purchase for the amount that makes you eligible to participate in the referral promo.

5. Once your referral successfully redeems the code, choose 'Transactions' in the side menu on mobile or web platform and navigate to the 'Pending' section.

The bonus reward will be available to claim for you and your referral in 3 days.

From there, find your reward in the list of pending payments, view the details, and choose 'Claim'. 

Note: Before claiming the payment, ensure your Stellar wallet is active (the absolute min balance is 1 XLM) and has enough XLM to establish a trustline for an asset you're going to claim.

Each asset trustline requires an additional 0.5 XLM reserve (enforced by the Stellar network, not LOBSTR).

• LOBSTR team will not allow any user to gain an advantage by doing a self-invite through multiple accounts. Any kind of manipulation will not tolerate and will be restricted. 
• LOBSTR team will ban referral links for those whom we find trying to game the system and will ban those users from participating in any future campaigns as well.
